She is a nurse entrepreneur, author, TedX Speaker and the first nurse featured on Ted.com, and part of the inaugural nursing panel featured at SXSW 2018. In 2019, Rebecca, along with a group of leading nurses in the world, founded and is President of SONSIEL: The Society of Nurse Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs & Leaders, a non-profit that quickly attained recognition by the United Nations as an Affiliate Member to the UN. As a nurse, she has had her share of crisis where life and death can rest in her choices. Rebecca shares some of the experiences she’s found herself in, how she navigated them and how those situations was where she found her voice and her grit.
